She told herself that she just needed one day to mourn, and that if she got that one day, she would be able to go back to the swollen bellies of expectant mothers and the tiny hands of newly-born infants. So, this chapter is pretty much utterly heartbreaking-- though very well written :) I quite enjoyed it-- please update soon!

Still absolutely loving this. You've definitely got me hooked, dear. :)

Sweet moses do I ever feel terrible for Addison. I think you've wrote her pain quite fantastically. The same goes for Alex as well; the way you describe his anxiety over telling Addison about Cincinnati and the hurt he feels just seeing Addison in the state she's in, is awesome.

Great work!

YARGH.

I'm glad you warned me. Otherwise, well, I would be very angry right now. Instead of just sort of angry. That aside...the intern dialogue was spot-on. And Hardball-related lust? Kind of priceless.

You did a really lovely job with this chapter-the characters' attempts to do what's best for the other felt sweet but still realistic. I can't wait to see where you take this. Thanks for sharing, as always!

Oh excellent. Alex actually uses his brain and pursues his career. The last line was killer and I'm shit out of luck for thinking of wonderful things to say so...I look forward to more as always. :)
