Sweet moses do I ever feel terrible for Addison. I think you've wrote her pain quite fantastically. The same goes for Alex as well; the way you describe his anxiety over telling Addison about Cincinnati and the hurt he feels just seeing Addison in the state she's in, is awesome.

I'm glad you warned me. Otherwise, well, I would be very angry right now. Instead of just sort of angry. That aside...the intern dialogue was spot-on. And Hardball-related lust? Kind of priceless.
You did a really lovely job with this chapter-the characters' attempts to do what's best for the other felt sweet but still realistic. I can't wait to see where you take this. Thanks for sharing, as always!
