The white envelope lay in the center of the coffee table, an innocent white rectangle that held either hope or despair, not that Addison wanted to be that dramatic. She stared at it, rubbing her hands together in anxiety.

I did a little double take on the day and then quickly decided to add this to my list of growing reasons as to why this is a pretty damn good day. Which is either sad and pathetic for me or a compliment for you.

Anyway, I loved the organization of this chapter oddly enough. The bouncing between past and then present time that was creeping by. In all it was like an hour of fic world but it worked so wonderfully. And the fact that her uterus sucks still kind of makes me love this all the more, well that and the feel of a very nonchalant Alex having children and then still being secretly freaked out. You're amazing. /rambling.

I like to think of this as the cherry on top, and that you already had a good day, so you are far from pathetic.

Thanks very much - I was a little unsure about how to come at this section, and I'm glad you thought it worked.

My heart broke for Addie, but I could feel how much Alex was there for her. Looking forward to Saturday and another update.

Oh, gosh, I love the name Eloise. Mostly because of the fact that Julie Andrews was in the movie adaptations of the books...but, whatever.

Thanks for reading. :)

Aw! No! That is so sad. Alex really cannot leave now. Addison is probably freaking out even more because she was counting on the pregnancy as a sign of commitment.
