I have to admit that at first glance, this is a pairing that strikes me as pure crack. But that's what's so impressive about this fic: I can really believe in the scenario, despite my initial skepticism. Lovely work! I think the part that really sold me was Laura's giggle fit, and Saul's reaction to it :)

I feel like my main ships are all crack!ships, and so I'm glad when people find them believable!

I feel like Laura's giggles are somewhat of a requirement. In anything.

Thank you so much for the feedback!

I'd thought it impossible - and believe me, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out a way to do it - but you made them work. And you did so beautifully. This was a wonderful read.

A wonderful, thoughtful story. While this pairing is often seen as crack, I think their relationship is an intriguing one. It's complicated, kinda based on mutual dislike... anyway, this story is great. I love your analysis, your characterisation of their relationship, of who they are and who they can be after New Caprica. It's believable, it rings true. It works.
Thank you very much for sharing this great story!

I am always really intrigued by the dynamic between the two of them - I just wish they had interacted more on the show together, and I'm glad you found this believable and realistic. Thank you so much!

I can see this; for a while wanted to write something similar myself. Bill doesn't understand what truly went on on New Caprica, and I can see it being too much for Laura to try to explain it, that she would prefer the company of someone who already understands.

I like where you put this, that the sex is not about love or a relationship, it's about healing (and trying to put something horrible behind you with the one person who won't be concerned with your office, or ask why, or tell his best friend, someone who could just be in that moment).

This was really lovely. I bought it -- loved the note she leaves at the end. Very well done!!

Because Bill/Laura is such a strong OTP of mine, I don't know if I could ever actually write Laura/anyone else where a relationship and/or love was involved, so I'm glad you thought it worked how it was.

Thank you so much for the feedback - I really appreciate it!
