I refer to my cellphone as my personal homing device. I will be the first to admit its convenience in modern life, but I frequently silence my phone and leave it unattended to in my room. I'll get back to you. I do like being able to be in touch with everyone instantly, but do not enjoy the expectation that I have

I totally agree with this mindset. I will frequently put my cell phone away from myself. Not because I don't care, but because I want some peace and quiet.
