Driving home from work. Route takes me through downtown St. Charles. Cheers exploding from the bars. Cars honking like crazy. Fireworks going off in the distance. Hmm, wonder what this could possibly be about ( Read more... )

You drive through downtown St. Charles regularly?!

We should meet up sometime...

ALSO THANKS FOR THE HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I definitely missed it because I was focused on the Hawks part of the entry haha.

I do and we should! I work in Batavia and live in Elgin, so yup make my way through St. Charles twice a day.

Hee, well the Hawks bit is quite exciting.

That's an awesome way to find out that they won. Sounds like the kind of scene that would sweep you up in it.

Hee I was tempted to stop and have a drink but, well, I'm lazy after work and parking would have been hard to find anyway.

*lol* That sounds like a great way to drive back home. All the awesome fireworks are illegal here. T_T Congrats on your team winning!

Lol they're probably illegal here too but it's the Hawks and it's been like 60 years so no one cares.

You know Kurt left the football team after that ep right? He's not actually on it. How can he be when he's a Cheerio?

Except he was definitely still on it in Mashup and didn't join Cheerios until the second half of the season. IDK it could work somehow.

Oh, right, he was. I swear he left though, way before he became a Cheerio. But, as well...as the cheer team, wouldn't the Cheerios have to, well, cheer at football games? That's how it works right? (I am seriously asking this, since we don't really have high school cheer teams here).

Heh well football season ends in like late October here unless your team qualifies to move on to regional then state play, so it's more likely the season just ended so he didn't have practice anymore. And yeah cheerleaders are at games, typically football and basketball, but I get the impression that his role on the Cheerios is to sing (which goddamn why don't we get to see that?) than to perform routines so idk I think it could work.
