i know! she was nuts. she stuck with it though, which is great. i really love what he is doing. it really gets me thinking about how kids eat, and how i want our kid(s) to eat if we ever have any. i really respect what jennifer over at the vegan lunchbox is doing (veganlunchbox.blogspot.com) and i hope i can pack awesome lunches like that for my kid(s) someday (or hey even myself!), though probably not vegan. i think school lunch is so horrible. its probably even worse in the US than in the UK. those turkey twisters?? gross!

It certainly is nasty. Anna takes her lunch most days, unless it's pizza or tacos. Juice box, fruit, sandwich w/whole wheat, and some sort of treat like cheezits or goldfish is the usual menu. Hardly inspired, I know, but it's got to be better than some of the greasy empty carbs they serve at school!
