hey! Well this is Y and I appreciate the nice things you have said about me. I don't blame anyone for making up all kinds of theories about what happened to me; I was as surprised as everyone else! Besides, the title "terror in the heartland" is a very extreme and an untrue description! In fact if someone insists about using that title then I was the only one who was terrorized that Thursday morning! Anyway, the guys who showed up were from the immigration wing of the DHS (absolutely no terror involved); it was an immi gration issue! and of course the color of my skin has complicated and blown things out of proportions for me the last few years. Anyway I was not charged with anything, and I have been free, paying my taxes and respecting every aspect of the law, and doing just fine! These are the facts and everything else is nothing but ignorant! About work, I liked everyone and I enjoyed working there even though I was underpaid:) and I don't mind working there again at all!
I don't know if you'll ever see this, but I want you to know that the "terror in the heartland" title was meant in criticism of the DHS agents. Storming into somebody's office and taking them away in front of all their co-workers is an act meant to inspire fear -- both in the person arrested and in the people who saw it and heard about it, who wonder what happened and whether something similar might happen to them.
I'm very glad that you weren't charged with anything, and I am sorry that you had to go through an experience like that at all. I'm also sorry for not making my meaning more clear; I didn't mean to impugn you and I'm sorry that any part of my post came off wrong.
