Testing the waters

Around 2am this morning, I became a seller on eBay.

I've been a buyer since '02, but until just recently I never had access to anything that I felt was really worth selling (or parting with). But over the years I've managed (mostly through luck) to get ahold of four out of the six books in the SUQ series. Today I finally decided to stick them up

Someday I want to take the text from all of the books and print it on really nice paper with a fantastic font and some illustrations and bind them into a book with a nice leather cover. And by then, hopefully, I'll have my sequel finished so that I can bind that into a "Volume II" book. =) My husband got me a book on how to book-bind and I'm just so fascinated by the idea. Now that would be an heirloom to pass down through the generations!

I think it would have been much smarter of Del Rey to have released the books together in that sort of way, rather than two at a time. As it is, I really doubt they're going to continue. :-(

Btw, I went ahead and posted "Beautiful" a week or so ago, partly due to my guilt over "Shadow Moon" but mostly because you had such encouraging words to say about that little drabble of a fic, way back when.
