Random musings on a Monday night......
1) I just love Neil Patrick Harris.  His Barney fills me with joy! Seriously -- I think my awesome gland swells every time he's on screen. (And WOW does that sound awkward. But it's still true)  His delivery of every line just kills me. I'm watching "Bachelor Party" and of course the debauchery he inflicts on

My favourite thing about Barney Stinson is that he is a perfect demonstration of what the show is, too - a little raunchy at times, supremely hilarious, but with lots of heart. ♥ I adore it. Like I adore Barney. He's fantastic! I doubt the character being played by any other actor would've ever grown on me.

Waitress is a lovely movie. I especially loved the glimpse at all those pies, heh. Suddenly, in fact, I am very hungry!

HODGINS! :D I've always loved him, but I really loved him watching his and Brennan's interactions in Aliens on the Spaceship. Those were absolutely perfect.

Exactly! I love how well the show balances the really funny, often raunch left-of-center stuff with real, genuine emotion. They do it so well and the cast just couldn't be better. I had no idea how much I'd missed little Doogie Howser MD until he showed up as a suit wearing, skirt chasing jackass.

We are so in sync! It was in fact Aliens on the Spaceship that I was watching that prompted me to express my serious Hodgins love. I was watching it and remembered that AOTS was the very first ep of Bones I ever watched -- and it was the intense interactions between Hodgins and Bones (as well as the emotions of the team during the search -- but mainly Hodgins) that made me fall in love with the show. He is SO fabulous. :-)

Ahhah, I knew it had to be that episode! I really loved the entire thing but Hodgins and Brennan [silly fact: I hate calling her Bones, because it feels like I'm doing something very wrong, since that's just for Booth! :P], being these scientists throughout while helping each other and facing what they will have to face - that was what sold it for me. I think I'll have to go watch it again later.

You know what? That actually makes sense to me! But I do it because when I call her Bones, I can hear Booth saying it in my head and it always makes me smile. I love those two! But nothing shall ever exceed my love for Hodgins. And while I love Zack (and talk about heartbreak in the finale!!), Hodgins will always be the uncontested King of the Lab.
