For the past twodays my connecton has been worse than dial up...you know the way its usual 50k,well it was 1o for me yesterday and 19 today...And its not just me,I've heard people in the town talknig about it too...wtf are they doing,they rip most of us off and the goverment does barlying anything about it ( Read more... )

Me and a few friends hooked up our Xbox's today and it ran fine.

Also the broadband speed is affecting non Eircom as well.

It's only a matter of time before it happens again - your 360 has one of the earlier chipsets, it's guaranteed to RROD again at some point. Every 360 available before February is susceptible to the Red Ring Of Death, or RROD. The only 360's which won't be affected by it are the ones with the Jasper and Falcon 65nm chipsets, and they're not available until next year, and you still won't be able to tell which 360 has them when going to buy one.

Just resign yourself to the fact - it's going to happen again.
