I took these photos one week ago, but not much has changed yet. The grass is greener than it was one week ago.

Really pretty pictures! All the flowers look lovely, even the poor tulip! All i have at home is a dying cactus :P Is it still really cold over there?

I'm glad you like them. ;) No, it's not really cold; it has been twelve degrees today and it's quite normal for this time of year in this part of the country (colder up north, warmer in the south...). May can be tricky; it can snow a little in May (not always, but it did two years ago: http://pics.livejournal.com/selma08/pic/0003ax4k) and another year it can be like early summer. When I was a child, I used to wish for warm weather (warm enough to wear a pretty dress outside) for my birthday, and I always got it! (Or maybe I only remember the sunny b-days...) But this year, ten degrees and cold wind, so no pretty dress... ;)

Wow, your tulips are so much later than they are in the UK. By the time I left in late April last year they were all fully in flower.

Nice pics!

Yes, the UK is not that far away from Sweden, but when it comes to spring weather, the difference is really big. But, sometimes we have tulips fully in flower in early May... it's different from one year to another. I'm glad you like the pics. :)

Those pictures are sooo pretty! I have been to Sweden one time and I just loved the nature there.
That's kind of crazy about the snow, but then again, here in Germany there has apparently also been snow over the last days - granted,it was only in mountain regions - but still,I can't remember ever having had snow in May.

Thanks! :) Yes, we do have nice nnature in Sweden, it depends on when and where you go... Where were you?
This year spring is a little colder and slower than what it could be, and I'm also more aware of the slowness because of my time in France/Germany; it was almost a month ago now and it still doesn't look like it did there. But at least the snow in that picture is old; it hasn't actually been snowing in these parts for some time now.

I enjoy reading your posts, and these photos are beautiful!
In Russia where I live everything is already green, but there are no flowers...
