I saw an icon with that saying and I think it would make a GREAT shirt. I'm glad you enjoyed the story.

Great read. Wonderful sense of action without sacrificing sense of who these people are.

Good story, dear heart. I still happen to hate zombies, but that's a fact that will never change I suspect! Good luck with this.

I will never try to get you to like zombies, don't worry. It means a lot that you read it, thank you.

WOW, the pace did not let up for a second from the get-go! Love the actions and the dialog. Kept me at the edge of my seat! And that ending. Woah. The zombies should be pleased with this one!

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it or at least couldn't sit completely relaxed for it. I hope so, I don't like doing two similar entries in a row.

That was very grim. The tenseness kept me hooked all the way through; it was good to read a zombie story this gritty and realistic.
I love how easily you killed off Sampson even after we got invested in him, and his personality was developed and all.. it was a real shock. I guess that's the way you have to be in that sort of situation.
And dang, Carol is about the most badassed person ever. If I'm ever in the zombie apocalypse, I want someone like her on my team please.

Yeah, it didn't help that I watch way too many bad movies and I just watched Carriers before writing this. As in so many movies they start off with the "rules" of survival. I figure, there is NEVER a movie where everyone follows the rules. Someone always gets bitten, lies, and then kills everyone. I wanted to write a story where someone did the right thing. I'm glad you liked it. I felt bad for killing Carol, but when I thought of that someone doing the right thing, she was born and after I finished writing I felt bad.
