You deserved a big heart because literally I felt my heart expand when I saw your comment. Which is crazy cos it's generally shrivelled up and frozen over on Valentine's Day.

Heh.

Despite being a ridiculously romantic person (in terms of fiction I write/read/watch), Valentine's Day usually makes me cringe!

I can't stand it. Liz pretty much expresses my view in 'Only In My Dreams' in that I find it to be a superficial day of commercialism masquerading as something else entirely. I was more annoyed this year because I realised the fact that it's quite sexist too. Seeing how everything is pegged at men doing things for women. Women always want their men to make them breakfast and fawn over them all day, and that would tick me off to no end if a guy did that to me.

*gets down of incredibly high horse*

Thank you so much! ♥

I read yours yesterday and I haven't commented yet because I keep getting called away to drive people places and whatnot, but I will today because it was so heartbreaking!

More happy endings endings! Which pretty much this whole thing will be one big happy ending seeing as how all the prompts I'm writing are in the same AU. So hopefully I'll try and keep the angst out. Then again, I tend to be a pretty angsty person usually...

This is BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely beautiful. The construction, the description, the language choices..

Jen, you are on Half Term. Stop being the English teacher and wanting to grade this work (totally high Level 7, possibly pushing into Level 8*) and give feedback.

I love their relationship and you make it real and realistic and beautiful because it's not saccharine and overdone in its romance. Best Valentine's fic eva.

* Level 8 is the highest one possible. Level 7/8 kinda equates to the A* grade at GCSE

Thank you, Miss! Here's an apple for you, Miss!

Sweet geezus, you can grade my stuff more often kthx. You're much easier to please than the teachers I had when I was at school.

Hence the reason I love them. I do tend to fall head over heels for OTP's that can be angsty and argue and just push each other's buttons. Because it's so not fun to watch people go gaga over each other. (Hence, even when I was a teen, I never watch or read anything made for teens... because it's repulsive)

Aw, nice work. ♥

(One comment - you describe Liz's boots as white and then as black in the same paragraph, right at the start there! I mean, they could be both, easily, but that's not how it reads.)

Oh. My. Streep. I am so glad you told me. Must have been lost in a fantasy when I wrote that bit. Have fixed it, as I do prefer Liz in white boots.

Thank you so much ♥
