The very next day she had begun questioning her choice. Not that it had been much of a choice in the end, at least not hers. Nevertheless the next day something had begun whispering doubts in the back of her mind.
Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, by the end of the year she was sure she’d done the wrong thing. Yes she was in love - she needed to live her life...
But in the end when her husband died and the world around her continued to change - it would be clear she’d made the wrong choice.
