It generally was, but... there are a few places where the pacing/drama fell flat. This seems to be the classic "D&D RP Problem". I think i need to figure out a way to get the characters involved more in the plot, more involved in the moment-to-moment development of the adventure.

As it is, it is somewhat hard to recognize decision moments, and, if presented, hard to justify the choice of one option over another.

I probably need to work on my character backstories a little better, so i have a better basis to make such judgments from!

Don't forget that to even *get* the Rock o' Doom to Mr. So-dark-my-name-is-black, we first have to "share" it with a suspiciously-knowledgeable tiefling warlock! Fun, fun! ;)

Oh, and it's always possible that the demon might send some lackeys to retrieve his heart, with or without the dragon's ghost attached!

I have a feeling that this particular demon is something of an Orcus analog, although probably much weaker...
