Hi, I've been reading your stories for a while but have been too shy to comment on them! *shame* But anyway...
Butbutbutbut....for some reason I didn't see it coming! This story is great despite the periodic suspenseful waits. The nuances and details are vivid yet not overly specific. I love the humanity of the interactions between the characters and the general feeling of the story itself. Oh, whatever, I just love it in general! Nice job with this chapter and the story in general!

The way you captured all the reactions was so real, it mirrored what I felt as I read them...the burning need for vengeance, the denial of what happened, the pain, horror and mind-numbing grief. *sniffle* I must admit, I was hoping Ares would show up in a blaze of glory and put a stop to Achilles' blood lust, but it wasn't in the cards this time. *waves "I luv Ares" flag feebly*
