[poem] Halloween

Oct 27, 2010 21:59

Have a Halloween special poem. Too early, I know, but I was bored. Staring at the screen while waiting for the install update to finish ain't really fun.

HALLOWEEN
Don’t get lost in that great, gloomy jungle, boy.
You might never come back. Lotsa monster.
Yeah, lotsa monsters out there, boy,
I tell ya that. Me old bones know.

Don’t trust those poshy, little snobs, boy.
They throw the sweetest stuff at your face
But behind ya, it’s all the nasties.
You wouldn’t want that now, would ya?

They all call me the old grave digger.
Well, I call meself just Old Jacky. See?
Yah, this is my darling, little baby.
She’s always bright and shiny and happy this season.

Wanna know why? I bet ya do. They always do.
Coz it’s Halloween, boy. And I’m ya guide.

#poems: seasonal
