I'm sure that's right. The book we read at passover tells us that when we left slavery we got our own land, which was Israel. Germany's a bit further to walk...

That's sort of what I thought. I mean, I'm sure at the time Germany was a lovely place positively overflowing with milk and honey, but it was probably a little further from Egypt than God promised. Possibly.

1. You may be trying ascribe logic to someone who has none (in the case of the Iranian chap).

2. You may also be trying to ascribe logic to a situation that has little.

All in all a path towards madness it's best to avoid, generally.
