So, it turns out that our oven is kind of insane and decided to randomly reset itself to factory settings, which is why it was no longer heating correctly because its temperature whatsit was confused and not the way that we'd set up

I'm supposed to be driving down to Sidmouth Folk Week today. I've already been in to the office this morning to sort something out (and to pick up some new glasses on the way past, it wasn't a totally special trip). Now I'm awaiting a call back from some finance software support people who have full admin rights to the server their stuff is on so I don't know what they think it is they can't do. Much longer and I'm going to have to put off going away until tomorrow which is just a whole world of irritation, only some of which is invoice-able.
