Get the drive in and download latest firmware and apps. I don't torrent directly too it but you can. I prefer not to as I dont want people accessesing the drive while I'm watching an HD movie ...
I couldn't get it hooked to the network, although I did manage the rest (installing firmware and apps from a thumbdrive) and I'm copying things from my USB drive until I figure out why I can't get the networking sorted. It's nice having everything neatly organized on an internal drive now :-)
Next thing on my shopping list - a NAS.
I got the A200. Figured it was best to start entry-level, particularly as I'm mainly watching TV episodes from the UK rather than loads of HD movies.
I hate not having a spare machine around. Computers always play up at the worst time. I think that I've got it sorted and running relatively smoothly now (grr, Mcafee) and the big desktop is also running properly again. We're not sure why it's running because we didn't fix it...
I'm definitely going to need to replace the laptop soon. It's running for now, but I'm worried and stressed every time I need to use it because I'm not sure whether it will work. That's not helpful! I should have the money for a decent (but not super high-end) desktop by early next year.

Because they're computers. They're designed to make your life harder.
It is so useful to have another computer when one breaks, which was why I kept my old, slow one around for a while before I got my (first) netbook.
