I'm feeling much happier and more positive today. It helps that the cramping has now gone so I'm not feeling icky. Note to self: bring a heating pad to work next specialist day and go home if the cramping gets bad. It's not worth the misery ( Read more... )

That doesn't sound crazy at all. :) I'm planning on doing the same thing as soon as I can get the ebooks. Probably going to see the movie tomorrow as well, I'm hearing good things about it so far. :)

I saw! I was enthralled and totally loved it. Got a little emotional when they were prepping the defenses. :)

Me too! I've been itching to see the Battle of Hogwarts since I read that part of the book. It was both stirring and sad to see all the preparations because the characters got to be wonderful but I also knew what was coming.

Same tipping point for me, definitely. I wasn't cringing as much through the bit where they were being fake pirates, but I didn't find myself really engaging with any of the story until they got to Drakasha's ship. Everything before that felt oddly disconnected and bitty. I enjoyed it a lot and look forward to the next one, but I hope he gets the pacing and flow better next time.
