It's not your birthday, but have some ice cream cake anyway.

Does your grocery store not have single serving pizzas? I know there are a variety at mine including: single slice, smaller rounds and pizza bagels (and not just in plain cheese and pepperoni either). I don't generally buy them because I have pizza for lunch at least once a week at the pizzaria in town.

It does, but generally in the deep dish kind of style pizza and I like the thin crust, minimal tomato sauce kind of pizza. Normally I'd be quite happy with left-overs (yay, lunch!) but in my exhaustion-fried brain, they equated to work that I could not cope with and thus the overwhelmed thing. It was definitely a sign that I needed sleep more than food that day!

Thanks for the cake :-)

Ah, we trend towards thin crust, but then this is NY and that's what we do. :)

Enjoy.

Had a tiny bit of bleeding today, but very little and I'm fairly sure that it was just a left-over thing rather than an "OMG, I'm bleeding!" thing. So I think the inflammation and ulceration is finally starting to heal again and this time, I'm hoping it gets to continue doing so.

I cannot sufficiently express my admiration for you, that you managed to face that feeling, stare it down and carry on. (We'll overlook the clumsiness in the kitchen.)

The DW blanket sounds like a superb idea. Make it so!

I think that I was about due for this moment. I've spent two months assuring everyone that I was fine and it was all going to be fine, so I'm not surprised that I cracked for a moment.

It feels like I needed to do it and I'm feeling much stronger and more able to cope now. Not sure that I deserve admiration, but thank you :-)

Maybe I'll gradually buy yarn in the right colours and work on patches when I need a fun moment...

:-D

I blame the supermarket. I'd avoid it, if I were you. It's obviously Evil.

I would, except the supermarket is where the cooking ingredients live and I like cooking and eating :-)

I can't even begin to imagine how tough this is for you.

Don't feel bad about meltdowns. *hugs*
