I have had an incredibly productive Saturday morning. Set out really early for the farmer's market over the harbour and somehow managed to fill a huge shopping bag with stuff in less than half an hour! I now have chipotle mayonnaise (mmmmmm), pita chips, handmade sausages, some baklava for dessert tonight, coffee and some green veg that is not ( Read more... )

I'm not usually this productive, but I feel really good about it so I may try to keep this kind of thing up on a Saturday.

It was all very yummy :-)

I'm still feeling better so I'm thinking that the vitamins are the answer. Why do I feel daft for having a suspicion that this might be termed SAD? Anyway, hopefully the vits will continue to be the answer and they'll strengthen up my bones as well. Apparently there is research to show that EDS patients are more prone to fracture, so I can understand why the rheumy has recommended them.

Ooh, the stew sounds good. Mine tends to get about 2-3 hours. Never thought of adding jam. Is the recipe online anywhere?

The recipe isn't on-line anywhere to my knowledge, but I could email you a copy if you'd like. It's designed for a slow-cooker but I'm sure you can adapt it to regular cooking without too many problems.
