Sometimes, I despair of my fellow fic writers. I get an RSS feed of new fics ( Read more... )

I was leaning towards Donna as a Time Lord (not Romana)until that scene you mention where you can hear a heartbeat, and it's only a single heartbeat.

Personally I think it's going to be Rusty's old favourite of more human than you.

Isn't it the case that Time Lords only have one heartbeat until after their first regeneration?

I like the idea that she's part Time Lord, some descendant of the Doctor's perhaps?

It may very well be. My knowledge of the first Doctor era is a wee bit ropey.

I do think the idea of Donna being part Time Lord is a bit good though.

*GGG* It is a fun thought!

I'm actually half-hoping she doesn't turn out to be a Time Lord because that would totally Joss my fic. Except I suspect that RTD is evil and therefore my fic might be Joss-ed.

I refuse to stop writing it, though!

My knowledge of the first Doctor era is a wee bit ropey.

As is mine, so I have no way to confirm or deny jedinic's knowledge.

I think it's quite interesting that we've had this very much in conjunction with how Donna is a disappointment to her mother. And what do we know of Donna's father, anyway?

Can't help thinking that her identity as 'temp' is also relevant.

We don't know a lot of Donna's father, but we have seen him: he was in the Runaway Bride. Look there for further information.

The actor who played him has died, which is why we've now got Wilf instead. I don't think they're going to pull any magic rabbits out of the hat about Dad being a Time Lord, if that's what you were thinking...

No, that wasn't what I was thinking. I was just wondering whether her dad was *really* her dad!

Ah, yes, the Runaway Bride. I didn't get to see that one. Good point.

It's an interesting piece of speculation. I'm half-wondering whether she's a cuckoo in the nest thing and the real Donna Noble was killed as a baby.

But then, my brain is odd like that.

I didn't get to see that one

At some stage, you will need to get hold of that one. Her Dad is lovely - I can't work out why he married her mother!

Quite tempted to write a *bad* 'My night with the Doctor' SG/DW cross-over. But somehow I think that not even I can stoop that low.

No, even you couldn't quite managed it. I haven't dared to click on the link yet. I'm a coward.

A couple of anagrams you might find interesting.

ROseMArthadonNA --> ROMANA and others

How do we know it's Donna who's Romana and not Rose or Martha? Well, perhaps the President of the Council would have a bodyguard?

Wilfred Mott --> Timelord. WTF?
