I didn't think it was that corny. I quite liked it, especially the description of the Christmas they're having this year in comparison to the Christmas they had last year.

Thank you, I'm feeling very flattered now :-) I think that it's hard to do festive fics without ending up just the teeniest bit corny, so I'm glad that I hadn't gone too far over into bad fic cliche territory or anything!
