I'm the exact opposite... absolutely LOVING this weather. It's still not quite warm enough for me but getting there. ;)

Suddenly going off the idea of ever going anywhere near where you come from. As far as I'm concerned it's gone beyond hot into unbearable and I might slit my throat if it doesn't stop soon.

Heehee... I consider this 'nice late Spring' weather.

And then we have 3 months of EXTREME heat.

In my dictionary it's extreme at the moment! But then I've never experienced anything above the low 30s and really have no desire to either.

Can you send some of it west please? It's still sunny here (I think, I'm on the other side of the room from the windows)

Sadly, the rain and stuff didn't hit home :-( The storm was just within ten miles of my workplace. Bleh. We apparently got twelve rain drops this afternoon and it's still far too hot and humid out here.

Which kind of goes to show how far work is from home. And that's even more depressing :-(

It's quite nice out now...

My landlady finds the weather at work different to here and she only worked 20mins away.

They have thunder and ligtning in England? It does happen in England, cool. ;)

I guess it was a bit of a difference from the weekly tropical storms we get here when it's summer, so I missed the storms, and still miss them because it's winter and I won't see a storm (in almost over 1 year) until September when it warms up.

Oh, it's cold here. But since it's an average of 22 degrees during the day, you might not think so, but the nights are nasty without any heating.

Usually we get them when it's been really hot and humid (like now!). Generally the heatwave breaks once you've had the thunderstorm, but not always. We also get them in the winter when the weather's just horrid and a thunderstorm just makes it that little bit worse :)

22 degrees sounds perfect to me :)

So what temperature is it during the night if you need heating?

It gets down to 4/6 degrees. But usually an average of 8/10. I guess. In the morning it's freezing. But I live in wooden house with big windows, fortunately I have carpets, so it's tolerable.

I find we get about six weeks of discomfort with winter because the houses are built for the hot temperatures and they are designed to keep the house cool and move any heat outside.

That is cold, in comparison to 22. Especially if you like 32 degree heat :)

Even though it's quite temperate here, we have the opposite problem - although the summer doesn't last for 6 weeks, thank goodness!
