Just a day or so after it was announced that Martin Freeman will play Richard III. , the BBC confirms that Benedict Cumberbatch will play Richard III on screen, the small screen, that is, in the It's Hard Out There For A York the follow up to their Hollow Crown

She'd be fantastic! Would require a bit suspension of disbelief for her first scenes in which young Margaret is a teenager, but hey, who cares if the actress is good, and she could totally carry Margaret from adulthood to crone-dom.

Alternatively, if they cast someone else as Margaret, she'd be a fantastic Duchess of York making emotional mincemeat of Richard in their big scene together in Richard III.
