Day 15 - Favorite female character

This is far more difficult to answer than the previous question, not because of fewer candidates, but because of more! For reference, the correct English word is railing. Banister is the vertical poles that hold up the rail on the side of a staircase. Railing is very generally a very narrow handrail, a wider one (as Javert dances on in the new film of Les Mis) would be called a balustrade.

Amanda on Highlander! I didn't always like her but she was so interesting to watch in a show with so many males. She totally held her own.

But yeah, their relationship was really cool. Just it was what it needed to be at different times. :-)
