Evil lingering cold is evil. And tomorrow a cousin's wedding, too.

I haven't seen Homeland. But if it helps your inner optimist: Dexter lasted for 5 whole good-quality seasons. Yes, S5 was considerably weaker than the previous ones, and the first two were IMO the best, but all of the first five seasons were solid. And Dexter had a much more precarious and far-fetched premise than Homeland. No reason why Homeland can't have a good run.

I was OK with Homeland last night. I don't think the premise is played out yet--a lot of stuff that was set up in S1 is coming to fruition, but opening up other complications. I almost wonder if the writers didn't actually have a multi-season arc in mind, unlike other shows where they sometimes seem amazed to have gotten beyond the pilot.

Saw it, and agree with you. I've got a cousin's wedding to attend to today, so it might be a while till I have the chance to review, but I agree.
