Akinnuoye-Agbaje is my number one choice to play Black Panther in what I hope is the inevitable movie. He would make a great T'Challa.

The Observer's critic obviously has a very limited knowledge when it comes to literature indeed. Makes me want to write down my own top ten list.

With the exception of War and Peace, there's not a single novel among them not written in the English language.

Yes there is; The Leopard, originally written in Italian as Il Gattopardo.

Thanks for the link to the article.

I've given up on best of lists in newspapers over here. They frequently do obscure things just to be obscure.

But Loki is made of fluff and rainbows, of course he can't be mean (we shall overlook the murderous plans he hatches). (I apologise for sarcasm)
