In case you were wondering, I....

1.) Haven't seen the latest Fringe yet, and am somewhat dreading to, because of the title and because of bad leftover feelings from later s3.

2.) Did, however, spent the weekend marathoning season 4 of Breaking Bad, since it's now available on dvd in my region. This I just finished doing, and am too worn out emotionally to type a review right now ( Read more... )

1) Can you believe that some viewers actually hate Skyler?
2) Marie/Hank is one of the truest and most endearing married couple ever showed on a tv show, even though Hank was an asshole to her this season. But I'm okay with it for Hank is the closest thing to a hero we have on the show, so as much as he's a good man (his "I'm not the man I thought I was" from season 3 killed me), he needs to have some flaws.
3) I soooooooooo would watch that!
4) That slip made my day when it happened. it was itself a pay off for the fact that they have hinted at Jesse being Walter's surrogate son (the third child he dreamt of when buying his house and visitng it for the first time in the S3 flashback) during the three previous seasons.

PS: FRINGE was gagging-worthy....

1.) Sadly, given my experience with fandom by now, I can. She's a female character with a lot of screentime who is layered and makes the leading male character look uncool on a frequent basis. Of course they hate her.

2.) Agreed. (Also in my review, which I've now posted!

3.) Me too! Presumably Hank and the others would assume he's been temporarily transfered from the States to help with a drug related case. And since the LoM/AtA verse is all about making the dead and comatose coppers face truths they hadn't yet in their lives, the case would have involve people with a resemblance to certain family members...

4.) More on that in my review.

I consider myself warned re: Fringe.

I would brace myself before watching Fringe. I'm by no means a huge Olivia fan (like all the characters on Fringe who are not Walter, I find her terribly bland), but even I thought this was a bit much.

Oh dear. Well, I'll watch Being Human and The Good Wife first, then!

I am terrified to watch this week's Fringe. Unspoiled and terrified, based on my flist rxn, which even without spoilers has been uniformly upset.

I am terrified, too, and have decided to watch all the other shows first to strengthen myself.

It wasn't as bad as I was bracing myself for. But it wasn't great.
