I'd go with most of those except 4 (don't know Lost well enough), so I'd substitute Reginald Jeeves.

A great Hurley vid, getting across much about the character even for complete newbies. Jeeves is an excellent choice, too, though!

The only one I don't know is Hurley (as I don't watch the show). Vir would definitely be passed up by many people "looking for companions" but your reasoning is very sound. Londo would never have survived without him.

Yes, most of your favorites I would never trust to actually be on my side. People who could take care of themselves in times of trouble is a whole different matter.
