As I won't get my copy of the new HP (thank you, Amazon, for the notification) until next week, and am not in the States, thus unable to watch the new season of BSG, I have to get my fannish Friday thrills another way. To wit, fanfiction.

Angel: Well of Static is a short and sharp story about Connor and Angel post-Not Fade Away. Very well written ( Read more... )

Oi, that's evil. Will you be getting it for free then? I thought that was the deal if they cannot deliver on Saturday.

I'll e-mail you about BSG as soon as I've got something.

The thing is, I'm moving from Munich to Bamberg tomorrow, and my mail gets forwarded as well. Meaning it arrives a day later, or in that case, after the weekend.

Ah. Very inconvenient then, moving when HP comes out... *g*

Hope the move goes smoothly!

Oh, it's not a big move in the sense that I change my adress, I'm just visiting my parents for a few weeks...

But yes, the date is inconvenient.*g*

Time's Needle is a splendid story, one I've enjoyed several times. The characterization and plot are handled very well. Have you read Reefrunner's previous cycle of stories?

I uploaded American Gothic 8, by the way, late last night; you might not have seen the post. I was going to try to do 9 today, but I somehow missed copying that episode (none of the rest, just that one) to my work computer, so it will have to wait for next week.

And this in turn reminded me that if someone wrote WH fanfic,

Stop looking at me like that! ;)

Speaking as someone who has written Buffy fanfic in the style of Chekhov, I love the Harry Potter pastiches, thanks for the link! (might just have to go kill off Dumbledore Chekovian-ly)

And by all means, kill off Dumbledore in the style of Anton C. *g*
