Flying back to Munich this afternoon, I leave you with some visual impressions of my time in London, with a brief excursion to Winchester, and to Greenwich.
Lovely photos! The weather was certainly kind to you :)
Shame the Temple Church was shut but it does seem to have quite random opening times. I was on a walk once with a City of London Blue Guide and even she wasn't sure it would be open.
Re: Temple Church, there's always the next London visit.
I had recalled Greenwich as pretty, but I don't think we went up to the observatory, you and I, when we were there with Roz a couple of yours ago, so I was charmed by the beauty of the view.
No, we didn't go up there that time. It's extraordinary how much that view has changed over the last few years. Another good open air view of London is from Primrose Hill on the north side of Regent's Park, but it doesn't come with Greenwich's other attractions.
Beautiful, beautiful photos. Now I really want to go back to England, although I've been there several times and there are many other places I haven't been.
I love the additions to Johnson's house. Thanks for telling us about them!

That view from Greenwich Observatory is fabulous.
