About that ending

Because the fannish mind sometimes does quirky things and makes you ponder something years later: back when Being Human finished, I had problems with the ending which the additional scene on the dvds largely resolved. To spare you the trouble of looking up the original review,

I like that, actually.

It just works for me best this way, keeping Rook's death and Hal's finally going through with the ritual - there was never a question of whether or not Alex and Tom would - but avoiding the happily ever after, never mind those people in the pub part. And I do like the three very much, I want them to survive. Just not in a way that's a step back from the s3 consequences.
