Sorry it's taken two days to respond to this! I had a really busy weekend. I liked OB S2 a lot but I do agree with you that ideally for S3 I'd love to see more of the clones working together. Which...I have to wonder how much the writers are inhibited and AVOID writing too many clone club group scenes because of the burden on Tatiana and the special effects. I'm not sure how expensive all these green scene effects are and I imagine the show's budget isn't huge. It seems like they often achieve a sense of clone club unity by having them all regularly Skype one another
( ... )
Trust me, I understand about business. These weeks are armageddon. :)
Re: Felix getting a non-clone storyline, I wouldn't bet on it, if for other reasons that the Felix & clone dymamics are so important to the show, so I'm not counting on, say, a storyline in which Felix finally goes steady with the morgue guy. However, I still hope for more interaction between him and Art (which would solve two of my hopes in one stroke)...and maybe he'll take to one of the male clones?
I can understand the writers being enchanted by the superb comic timing Tatiana Maslany has as Alison, but that shouldn't stop them to let Alison do drama as well; knowing for sure now you have it in you to kill someone - and not in self defense - certainly would offer opportunity.
Great list. (Though Felix getting actual character development through his interactions with various clones is also on mine.)
I very much agree that the intraclone relationships are the most important on the show (Cosima & Sarah v. Cosima & Delphine is an unfair but apt comparison), and worry about the show's ability to deliver more of that. I really hope you are right about more Marion & Mrs S!
I think they will minimize clone!Mark scenes, because of the Maslany factor, but I think there will still be evil fundamentalists, just female ones--because the hint that Proleathian female leaders was going to return with more wives was dropped too strongly last season. Plus the show really seems to want to go somewhere with the Science v. Religion v. Military theme as a metaphor.

I'd love more dramatic stuff from Alison; I felt the aftermath of what she did to Ainsley was slightly flattened by the comedic focus with her.

This. A thousand times this!
It amazes me how much more interesting Vic is than Paul, which is partly acting, but also the show knowing how to use him sparingly but effectively.
