Munich Film Festival: "L'Chaim!" and "White Shadow"

Actually, I watched Andrzej Wajda's Walesa: Man of Hope in between these two, which was a good thing, because while it's not a must but an entertaining biopic, it provided a breath of air between emotional pummelling by more original films for me. I've heard of this many times and it's more disturbing to see a film made of it but it is important to put it out there. I hope that youngster has a great future in film, no matter where but more than that, I pray he and those like him can live in safety.
