You know what you should see if you haven't seen it already: Amistad (1997) its excellent.

I've seen "Amistad". It's pretty good. Although I feel that the pacing for the last third of the movie got bogged down a bit.

I've seen the movie. And I stand by my words. It is first rate, except for the last act, which seemed bogged down by the change in pacing.
