I was just a bit too young(or not into what was going on in the world!) at this time to remember much about it. The first thing I really knew about anything was watching the 1980 UK embassy seige and the SAS going in. I happened to have a college trip booked for London only 3 days after this all happened, to a place just down the road from the Embassy so it was all still headline news when I walked past it a few days later!
