I decided that today, I will go through setting up a development environment for Java. This is no ordinary Development Environment, however. It's IDK-heavy, and aimed at large, image-processing type projects.

Anna loves Eclipse!

Anna does not love test-driven development. However, she prefers it over the 'extreme programming' nonsense some software houses use.

We'll have to take this up over lunch sometime. I've found it to be quite palatable, in two-hour increments.

after a summer of coding for a prototype, i've been thinking of going to graduate school for EE. Applied Physics, as a major, is designed to propel people into fields other than physics anyway. i loved working with the prototype, and i'd like to make new ones too, so it seems like EE would be a good way to go. thoughts, oh bad-ass of EE?
p.s.--i wouldn't mind the challenge
