Aren't they? The blocks seem kinda finicky, though...
Although I guess this is going to be the year of the finicky quilts, given that I want to move out of some of the previous blocks I've done to try new ones!

I think L2 would do really well with a bunch of the batiks that are due any day soon...
And I love the Under The Sea version - lots of careful choice of colours, but a beautiful result!

Have you done it before? Or seen someone you know do it?
IT looks like a really versatile block, actually - all in the colour and the placement! But then, that could be said of a lot of quilting designs...

Nope haven't seen it before or done it. It looks very hard, but then very effective too. I really am just starting out with quilts.
