So it's a neat little house on a relatively small plot of land. Not entirely tree-free, but they're not hanging over the house, and are reasonably manageable.

Well, the trees are all on the southwest corner of the property, which means we're getting all the northern sun - which is fine, since we have the awnings over the windows for summer. (I must see about getting those remade in some funky modern prints...)

And yes, it's a load off our minds in one way - and a whole lot of new stresses in another! But we'll manage. :)
