Literally late, not euphemistically.

He said he'd be around 9am. We got a call around 9:10 - they were just leaving my aunt's place - about an hour away.

Then, at 10:15am, I called him - they were stopping over at a place that isn't on the way from the aunt's place to here - to...pick someone/something up? This place is 45mins from my aunt's and

Oh dear. Well, I suppose he'll turn up eventually? Pen's parents do this every single time. Sometimes they don't even show up the same day...

"Eventually" was about the sum of it. He turned up 12:30pm. They'd already had lunch. He came, he looked at B1's car (the purpose of the visit) and was gone by 1:30pm to take the horde to walk about the Opera House in the afternoon.

Ah well. He's going to Mum's for dinner tomorrow night. Possibly. If they turn up before midnight. (meow)
