Tomorrow will mark five years in SP fandom for me, which is insane and scary. I don't think I ever imagined I'd still be writing S/K slash fics now, but here we are, and I don't regret it, which is even weirder.

I've noticed that people seem to be especially sensitive to "spoilers" lately, not just in the sense that knowing the conclusion of a story or key plot details will ruin it for them, but even the topic of a TV episode, or a snippet of dialogue, or a 10-second clip from a much longer work, or even an image of how a character/set is styled. Tumblr makes me completely miserable. Every time I go on it I feel less interested in participating in fandom. I realize that no one is going to stop using Tumblr because I hate it, certainly not the people I interact with in fandom, but using it pretty much gives me legit anxiety and I don't want anything to do with it. I really think if you're in the SP fandom, you shouldn't have to warn for language, especially if your fic is rated NC17.
