HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I have had piles of things that i've wanted to update this lj with but things keep getting away from me.  I actually just came back from gorging myself at Restaurant Week and need to do lurking before going to bed (lying down right now would clearly be disastrous.)

LOL @ "sweet frilly girl" and "hippie boho" terms.

I suppose what I wear on a normal weekend basis is kinda like that. O_o;;;;; Minus hippie. Maybe with a touch of 1% boho. I just think it's entertaining to think of styles like that.

Honestly, I really like the red skirted coat! Actually any of the coats that look like a dress are pretty versatile. ^^;;

I feel like my closet right now is 70% aspirational and maybe only 30% reflecting who I am right now. Not necessarily a bad thing - I feel like it would be a greater tragedy if it were all things that said only one thing about me. (Unfortunately, in practical terms this means I just don't have enough room for like 50% of the stuff I have)

I love that all the coats, when flared at the waist, are full skirted rather than only A-line so you do get full swish action (and loli skirt pettis can fit underneath!)

Yeah I do buy from ASOS quite a bit, but I think I've only bought a few things of the ASOS brand. I think the quality is quite good, similar to maybe TopShop? They do have very nice styles I have to admit! :D
