Is anyone missing a piece of jewelry?

...You, uh, wouldn't happen to be in possession of a ring on a necklace, would you?

Yes! I had found it whilst in the park, near a bin. I am hoping to find the owner, as mayhap he or she had simply misplaced it, and one had thought it to be a piece of rubbish...

Might you know who this belongs to, ser?

So that's where it went! Listen, girlie, you're a real life saver. That ring belongs to the guy who was sitting near that bench. But he's not in his right mind right now. You've been told about brainwashing, right? Nasty shit, that is.

But yeah. It's his, and it's really, really important to 'im.

[Hear a gasp on the other line.]

It is his?

That is...I had been told, but seeing it firsthand, it is quite a frightening thing. I hope it is not permanent. Is there a means to reverse it?

But that would explain why it was in a bin, rather than around his neck...

Negative. Did you find something of the sort?

Yes, but I know to whom it belongs to now.

I am sorry if my sudden message was a bother to you, ser.

It is simply that I had found a piece of jewelry, and had wondered who the owner was...

Though it seems that I have learned his identity now. I am hoping to return it sometime soon.
