I can see the trainwreck coming already and it is beautiful. (I have faith it will have a happy ending.) This looks to be great fun and has a wonderful amount of tension.

I really like how you have Iruka feeling from guilty pleasure from the prank. He knows it was mean and it is going to end badly, but he's gleeful about suceeding and a little denial goes a long way. :)

Also, I just know there has to be some important details he's forgotten that are going to come bite him in the ass and cause him to scramble.
