Summary: Kakashi surprises Iruka with dinner.
Notes: For Beasiesgal. (Thanks for betaing too!) This idea just popped into my head while eating bibimbap one night and had to be written. I... don't really know ( Read more... )

Mmmm I like bi bim bap best in a hot stone pot so it sizzles. Kochijung/Kochijang/Kochijeung/Gochujung/Gochujang/Chokijung/etc. [damn Koreans for not liking romanization] is only spicy if you put a lot. I've seen people try to eat bi bim bap without mixing it up and it just makes me want to climb in their laps and make them eat it properly.

It's good for using up leftovers though. Kakashi can't mess up leftovers, right?

Korean romanizations give me such a headache... And I'm Korean! *fails so hard*

Hot bibimbap is the best... n_n

Eating bibimbap without mixing! What! That is a travesty!

You totally got it, though. Fail-safe cooking for Kakashi. XD

It's all your fault! Choose a romanization and stick with it! XD

I'll bet everything Kakashi eats/makes is leftovers of some kind... He probably steals the leftovers from other people's houses just because he's too lazy to cook properly

... the mental image of Kakashi doing that... *cracks up* I can see it, somehow. XD

So that's his secret for not burning their kitchen down... XD

먹고 싶어요. Now I have cravings for Korean. But you're right Bibimbap and MazeGohan are completley different, as are many other Japanese/Korean foods. I'm impressed that Iruka can read Korean though. Off to make HouDok (호떡) nomnomnomnom.

Mmm, Korean food is lovely. So is Japanese food, but they are very different indeed. Perhaps 'gochujang' was phoneticized in Katakana, so Iruka could read it? I hadn't thought of that... XD

Mmmmm, hotteok is delicious.

Thank you for commenting! ^^

Oh, good! If you're hungry, I succeeded. ^^

I was SO hungry while I wrote this, but we were all out of the crucial ingredients at the time! It was terrible. XD

Eeei, ije baegopujana!
Ha ha! Romanisation fail, but I'm too lazy to break out my hanja keyboard.
Do people really eat it without mixing it up?! Maybe it's cuz I grew up in Korea, but that seems like it violates some law of the universe or something and will lead to bad karma. Ever have Jeonju bibimbap? Best. Ever. Must be the namul.
I fail for reading this just now, but thanks for the fluff and food. Jalmugusumnida / Gochisosama ^_^

Hee, I'm glad you enjoyed! :)

I think people eating bibimbap without mixing it up is INSANE and UNNATURAL. O_O Just thinking about it makes me twitch.

You grew up in Korea? That's so cool! n_n
