Memorial Day Weekend

On Thursday, I watched Megan's softball game: the softball team formerly known as Cutter's. They won. We then went to Duggan's which sadly had poor service and Mr. Carolin gave them a stern talking-to. And I order a Sundae and it was friggin' huge and had three spoons. They should have known to tone it down since it was only for me

Hope you're enjoying your first college summer home :)

As for the summer reading, I'm also doing it. And I'm glad to know you're getting into The Dante Club, because it's been sitting on my bookshelf for over a year and I couldn't get past ~pg 20. I'll give it another go.

Recommendation: Have you read the His Dark Materials trilogy by Phillip Pullman? If not, you should, because the first installment (The Golden Compass) is coming out in December and looks amazing. (Though as you recognize in your above post, books are 99.9% of the time better than the movie) But I thought it would be something you'd enjoy reading, and a fast, enjoyable way to knock 3 books off!

i have not read that trilogy but it was recommended to me a while ago. but now that its going to be a movie, honestly, i probably won't read them.
