And I always wanted to explain her different hairstyle in AC. After all, Aerith (who died with her FFVII hair and presumably doesn't get hairstyling services in the Lifestream) still maintains her original FFVII hair length. What's the story behind Teef's?

I'd love to think of her that way actually. It makes her character shine through her "fan's" expectations of her. Not to mention it's refreshing to see her express thoughts over how she feels about herself. <33

Thank you! *hugs* I don't feel like I know Tifa's character that well, so I'm glad you liked it!

There are a few cardinal rules to her character that I hold to, though, and among them is that Tifa has to be her own hero. She has to whisk herself away on her own horse chocobo, because no one else could do it for her.

And fans may view this as a bastardisation of innocent!Tifa, but I like to think that Tifa knew she had the assets and all the Nibelheim boys wanted her milkshake. Thinking otherwise just makes her too oblivious for my tastes.

GRANTED I am not an FF fangirl - my friends ruined that for me with their damned insistence I watch AC. However, I kind of like the solemnity of the story with that bit of stream-of-consciousness in it. Nice. :)

Heh, if by any chance you do decide to venture forth into this labyrinth of fanwankery known as the FF fandom, I'd strongly suggest sticking to the fanfiction/fanart parts. Higher chances of maintaining sanity there. xD
